NRA'25 Nominations Form

*ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR TOP 5 FINALIST ON EACH CATEGORY *
1. Must Be an Active On‑Air Personality
•Actively broadcasting (live or pre-recorded) on a licensed radio platform in Nigeria — this includes online radio, community streams, or unaffiliated showcast platforms. 
* Nominee must have at least one active social media handle 
 
2. Demonstrate Broadcasting Excellence
Judging often considers the following traits.
•Consistency and Voice Quality: Regular, articulate, and confident presence on-air.
•Informative & Engaging Content: Shows should educate, inspire, informative and entertain.
•Impact & Connection: The ability to influence listeners, sustain audience engagement, and generate feedback.
•Interview & Panel Control: For talk formats, strong interviewing and moderation skills.
 
These align with the Nigerian Radio Awards’ mission to “celebrate excellence in the radio media,” as evaluated by a panel of industry judges .
 
*3. Follow the Nigerian Radio Awards Voting Process *
Nomination to finalist status requires:
1.Submission/Nomination: Your show or you as an OAP must be nominated during the window.
2.Voting Rounds: Initial broad voting to longlist nominees.
3.Finalist Selection: Top 5 in each category are chosen via cumulative votes 60% and 40% from number 2 of this eligibility criteria, carefully selected by media veteran as judges.
 
4. Meet Specific Category Requirements
If entering a specific category (e.g., Best On‑Air Personality) ensure that:
•Your entry meets category-specific definitions and technical formats.
•You meet any stated criteria like minimum airtime, show duration, or frequency (this should be expected during interview section by the Judges)
